To show our appreciation to our employees, we hosted a parking lot party on Friday! We invited team members to enjoy Kona Ice, and we also had games to play and music to amp up the energy. We know how challenging it can be to find good employees, and we're grateful for those who commit themselves to the work and company culture at Abernethy Laurels. We value their hard work and dedication! #abernethylaurels #seniorliving #retirementcommunity #EmployeeAppreciationDay #workfamily #workparty #shavedice #newtonnc ... See MoreSee Less

National Maintenance Worker Appreciation Day was Friday, so we gave these guys a shout-out for all their hard work and their cheerful attitude. We also energized them with Dunkin' coffee! Pictured (l-r) are Joshua Weddle, Don Scronce, Jonathan Lail (director of facilities management), Michael Fisk, Wesley Starnes, Dwayne Rudisill, and Lakota Long. Keeping things up and running well demands a full-time, ongoing effort, and they do a yeoman's job every day! #abernethylaurels #seniorliving #retirementcommunity #maintenanceteam #doingwhatneedstobedone #newtonnc ...
