Abernethy Laurels is located two miles east of Newton, NC, on Highway 16, in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina.
From I-40, take Exit 132 for NC-16
Turn south onto NC-16 and drive 5 miles.
Turn left at the light (there’s a car dealership on the corner) and continue on NC-16 South for .8 of a mile.
Turn left onto Leonard Avenue.
From US 321, take Exit 37 for NC-10
Turn east on NC-10 toward Newton (NC-10 merges into NC-16) and drive approximately 10 miles.
Continue south on NC-16.
Turn left onto Leonard Avenue.
